Join us in The Salberg Studio at Salisbury Playhouse, as Sarah Winman, author of When God Was A Rabbit and A Year of Marvellous Ways, discusses her work, including her latest novel, Tin Man.
Sarah’s family is from East Oxford, originally a working class area, and where Tin Man is partly set. Tin Man is a term used to refer to the highly skilled panel beaters who worked in the car factory with her grandfather back in Oxford.
Sarah grew up in Essex and was an actor for 30 years in film, theatre and TV. She lives in London with her partner, Patricia.
