The Art of Discworld with Paul Kidby
Paul Kidby is best known for being the ‘artist of choice’ for award-winning writer, the late Sir Terry Pratchett, who passed away in 2015.
Paul has designed the Discworld book jackets since 2002 and has illustrated many Discworld publications including The Art of Discworld and best-selling The Last Hero.
In this illustrated talk Paul will discuss how he became a leading fantasy artist and his past working relationship with Terry Pratchett. He will also show a selection of his pencil and colour artwork and talk about the creative process of designing and illustrating Discworld. The talk ends with an opportunity to ask Paul your own questions about his life as an artist.
