Salisbury is rich in literary heritage, with a remarkable roll call of authors who have written about the city, from Thomas Hardy to William Golding, Charles Dickens to Dorothy L. Sayers. On this literary walk, festival director Tom Bromley will take you on a guided tour of Salisbury Cathedral Close and some of the literary landmarks that have inspired authors over the years. The walk will be accompanied by readings from some of these wonderful books.
The starting point for the walk is Sarum College. The walk will last approximately one hour
